Shirley J. Crabill-Kinderknecht…May 1, 1938 – April 1, 2016

A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Shirley J. Crabill-Kinderknecht will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Lamar First Baptist Church with Steve Knobbe officiating. 

Per Shirley’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation. 

Shirley was born in Laramie, Wyoming on May 1, 1938 to Paul and Irva (Williams) Crabill and departed this life April 1, 2016 in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 77. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Erva Williams and Paul Crabill; brother, Ronald Crabill and her grandson, Todd Christiansen. 

Shirley is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert Kinderknecht of the family home in Lamar; sons, Rick Rasmussen of California and Bryan Rasmussen of Wiley; daughters, Tamara Lamkin of Longmont, CO; Kammie (Randy) Hager of Lamar and Brenda (Roger) Reyher of McClave as well as 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Pamela (Steve) Kruger of Olathe, KS as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and a host of friends.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Southeastern Developmental Services and/or Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.  

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
