Frances I. LaCost…October 30, 1935 – April 9, 2016

A private family graveside memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Frances I. LaCost will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar with Gary Pritchard officiating.

Per Frances’ request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.

Frances was born on October 30, 1935 at Syracuse, Kansas to William Joseph and Etta Smith Anderson and passed away on April 9, 2016 at her home in Lamar at the age of 80.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Yvonne Newman and son, Michael Comer.

Frances is survived by her husband, Ed LaCost of the family home in Lamar; children, Maxine (Earl Neugebauer) Williams of Holly; Gregory Lee Comer of Denton, MD and Romona Anderson of Lamar. She is also survived by her siblings, Joseph W. (Brigetta) Anderson of Canon City, CO; Mary Vocke of Pueblo and Robert (Tommie) Anderson of Guymon, OK as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
