Lorene Kimball…August 6, 1927 – March 19, 2016

Memorial services for Lorene Kimball will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Horber Funeral Chapel in Las Animas, Colorado with Pastor Janice Ramey officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery, and a reception will be held at 412 Belleview Avenue, La Junta, CO 81050.

Lorene (Hogue) Kimball was born on August 6, 1927 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Bonnie Wade and Amie Belle (Butler) Hogue.  She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her residence in Littleton, Colorado on March 19, 2016 at the age of 88.

Lorene was loved by many, and loved many, and cherished every moment of her life. She brought so much joy and love to everyone around her. Lorene will be missed dearly, but is now resting peacefully in Heaven.

Lorene is survived by her daughter, Valerie Chambers; two sons, Kent and Flynt Graham; sister, Irene Bentley; brother, Melvin Hogue; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie Wade and Amie Belle Hogue; brothers, Willis and Leroy Hogue; and sisters, Bonnie Van Pelt and Vera Anderson.
