A.R. “Sonny” Morrow…January 18, 1931 – March 18, 2016

A memorial celebration of life for longtime Granada resident, A.R. “Sonny” Morrow, will be held at 11:00AM Saturday March 26, 2016 at the Granada United Methodist Church in Granada with Reverend Kathy Leathers officiating. In-Urnment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Granada.

Visitation and slideshow for Sonny will be held at the Peacock Family Chapel from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday March 25, 2016.

A.R. “Sonny” Morrow was born on January 18, 1931 in Hartman, Colorado to Roy Morrow and Beulah Hickman-Morrow and departed this life on Friday March 18, 2016 in Santa Fe, New Mexico at the age of 85.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife – Marilee (Murray) Morrow; by one sister – Marjorie Mendenhall; an infant daughter – Marylyn Morrow; by one grandson – Darrell Cook and by his son-in-law – Bob Cook.

Sonny is survived by three children – Connie Cook of Granada; Debra (Chris) Choat of Granada; and Daniel (Kris) Morrow of Santa Fe, NM; by six grandchildren – Trevor (Mendi) Choat; Rebecca (Ty) Harmon; Crystal Cook; Amanda (Tom Nichols) Morrow; Carrie (Elijah Roberson) Morrow; and Lisa Morrow; by eight great grandchildren – Tallie Harmon; Abbie Harmon; Emmie Harmon; Riley Harmon; Chelsea Melgosa; Alexandra Choat; and Cennan and Cadden Cook; and by one great great granddaughter – Sophia Melgosa; also surviving are numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
