Ronnie (Ron) Guy Perry – May 26, 1942 – April 18, 2026

Ronnie (Ron) Guy Perry was born in Glendale California on May 26, 1942. He attended grade school and junior high in Highland Park a suburb of Los Angelos, CA and Lamar High School graduating in 1961. He joined the army shortly after high school where he trained as medic for the 82 nd Air Born at Fort Bragg, NC After the army, he lived in Lamar for a short time before moving back to Los Angelos area. He started working for the Southern Pacific R.R. as an electrician working on the engines.

In 2005 Ron retired and moved back to Lamar with his wife, Pat. Pat died in 2011 and Ron moved back to Ventura California. Ron was an avid bicycle rider and often completed 100 and 200 miles a day. Somewhere around 2019 or 2020 Ron moved to Eugene, OR with his stepson Joey and his wife Sloan.

The last 3 to 4 years Ron fought bone cancer which finally took his life on April 18, 2026.
