My name is Joshua Robertson, and I am running for Kiowa County Sheriff.

In a small rural county like ours, leadership isn’t measured by titles or praise—it’s measured by trust. Trust built over time. Trust built through consistency. Trust built by showing up for people, not just positions.

Kiowa County is where my family and I are raising our children, and that gives this responsibility real weight. The safety, fairness, and integrity of this office matter not just in principle, but in everyday life—for our kids, our neighbors, and the generations coming behind us.

I believe the Sheriff’s Office should be approachable, transparent, and grounded in service. Law enforcement here should feel local and invested in the community, not distant or untouchable. That means listening, communicating clearly, supporting our deputies, and treating every individual with dignity and respect.

Public service is stewardship. The badge represents responsibility, not authority. If elected, I will serve with humility, professionalism, and common sense, and I will never forget that this office belongs to the people of Kiowa County.
