Ellen M. Barboza – March 16, 1952 – April 1, 2026

Ellen M. Barboza was born March 16, 1952 in Gurley, Nebraska to Jessie and Irene (Rivas) Henry. She passed away surrounded by her family on April 1, 2026 at her home in Holly, Colorado at the age of 74.
Ellen is survived by her husband, Miguel Barboza; children, Eva Hernandez, Angela Vondy, Joe Castillo,
and Brenda Abernathy; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Teresa Gingles, Jesse Henry,
and Nick Henry; many other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Henry and Irene Ramos; and siblings, Richard Henry
and Isabell Meier.

Visitation for Ellen will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2026 at Valley Funeral &
Cremation in Holly, Colorado. Cremation will follow the visitation and no services are scheduled at this
time.
