Dep. Settles arrested Amber A. Wilson,20 of Lamar at the Prowers County Courthouse on a probation hold issued by the 15th Judicial District Probation Office. Wilson is being held on no bond.

Deputy Weisenhorn was contacted by a Prowers County Resident who stated he had received a phone call from someone claiming to be with the IRS. The message stated he owed money or a warrant would be issued for his arrest. This is the second call reported like this and it is a scam.

Deputies responded to a disturbance at 302 W. 1st St South in Bristol, CO.  Deputies found this matter was a civil custody issue and informed parties this mattered needed to be handled by the courts.

Deputies contacted a vehicle in the 3000 blk of Hwy 50. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Pueblo. The passenger John Dennel was arrested for possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute and other felony charges along with a no bond felony warrant. Dennel is being held on $50,000.00

Deputy Ibarra was asked to call RP regarding a possible harassment.  Deputy spoke to the RP who said she did not want to report this incident at this time because she had family over and did not want deputies there.

Deputy Weisenhorn responded to the 200 blk of E Cheyenne St in Holly for a disturbance. The RP stated her son and a friend were play fighting and the mother of the friend shoved the RP’s son causing him to fall. Both parties were talked to and agreed to stay away from each other.
