Comments: Senior Sergeant Ron Manly transported Sheri Cline from the Bent County Jail to the Prowers County Jail. Cline had been arrested in Bent County on a Prowers County Court warrant held on $750 cash bond.

182263 11/05/2018 505 E. ELM ST LAMAR, – AMPHETAMINE, OTHER

Comments: Deputy T. Dunagan of the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office contacted a subject in the 500 block of East Elm Street in Lamar. The driver, Felipa Wheeler of Lamar was found to be in possession of a schedule II substance and theft from Big R. Wheeler is being held at the Prowers County Jail on a $4,000 bond.

Comments: Amber Russel of Lamar was served with a Failure to Comply warrant. Bond was set at $2,500.

182239 11/01/2018 108 S CLINE ST GRANADA – DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Comments: Deputies were called to a fight in progress in the 100 blk of S. C line St. in Granada. The resident said he was arguing with a friend. The resident refused to say who his friend was.

 

182204 10/27/2018 9122 HH CR – SUICIDAL

Comments: Deputy T. Dunagan of the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 9000 block of County Road HH to investigate a female jumping out of a moving vehicle. Female was transported to Prowers Medical C enter. No criminal charges were pursued.

182206 10/28/2018 (SHORTY’S CAFE) – TRAFFIC ACCIDENT, PRIVATE PROP DAMG

Comments: Deputy T. Dunagan of the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 200 block of Snowden in Granada to investigate a vehicle crashing into a building. Deputy found a vehicle had struck the front of a building causing damage. No one was injured.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        07:53   1807029          FORGUE, CORY         Officers were called to a domestic incident in the 700 blk of S. Mullen. Upon investigation no evidence shows a domestic incident took place and investigation into the stories from both parties continues.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        09:31   1807030          LOZOYA, JOSE           Code enforcement officer responded to 619 E Oak St in regards to a welfare check on a dog. Officer found no signs of malnourishment and the owner was contacted.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        09:58   1807031          CAVE, FRANKLIN      Officers were contacted by security for Prowers County Courthouse regarding a passport that had been found in the parking lot. The passport was collected for safekeeping.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        10:28   1807032          DAVIS, KENNETH     Code enforcement officer observed a Corgi dog running at large in the 1200 block of S 12th St. The dog was restrained back into the yard at 1411 S 12th St.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        11:06   1807033          DAVIS, KENNETH     Code enforcement officer observed a Chihuahua dog running at large in the 400 block of N 7th St. The dog was confined back into the kennel at 407 N 7th St. and a door tag left at the residence.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        11:54   1807034          LOZOYA, JOSE           Code enforcement officer responded to 14th St and Oak St in regards to a dog at large. The owner was contacted and the dog was confined.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        12:12   1807035          LOZOYA, JOSE           While on patrol code enforcement officer observed a dog a large at the intersection of 10th St and Maple St. The dog was confined and a door tag was issued.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        12:31   1807036          LOZOYA, JOSE           Code enforcement officer responded to 10th St and Maple St in regards to a dog at large. Officer confined the dog at its residence.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        11:31   1807037          CLEVENGER, TANISHA        Students of the Lamar High School were transported to Pizza Hut for student of the month and were rewarded for their hard work in school. The students were joined by members of the Lamar Police Department.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        13:15   1807038          DAVIS, KENNETH     While on patrol in the area of 10th & Railroad code enforcement officer observed a tan Chihuahua dog running at large. The dog was returned to the owner at 103 S 10th St. and a verbal warning issued.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        13:32   1807039          DAVIS, KENNETH     Code enforcement officer responded to 1308 S 11th St. concerning a code violation. A notification order was left at the residence and a recheck scheduled.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        14:29   1807041          DAVIS, KENNETH     While on patrol in the area of 407 Kimberly Ln. code enforcement officer observed a black and white pit dog running at large. The dog was confined at 407 Kimberly Ln. and a door tag left at the residence.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        14:30   1807042          LOZOYA, JOSE           While on patrol code enforcement officer observed a dog at large in the 1700 block of S 10th St. Officer contacted the owner and issued a citation.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        13:45   1807040          FORGUE, CORY         Officers were called to two vehicle non injury accident at N. Main St and W. Popular.  One vehicle had severe damage to the driver front side, estimated damage about $2,400, the other vehicle had damage to the driver rear passenger area. Estimated damage $2,000. 77 year old Shara Turnbull of Lamar was cited for careless driving.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        14:57   1807043          DAVIS, KENNETH     Code enforcement officer responded to 517 E Oak St. concerning a doa squirrel. The animal was transported to the shelter for disposal.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        15:22   1807044          FORGUE, CORY         An officer was called to an altercation in the 200 blk of S. 10th St. Upon arrival an investigation was started and two residents made contact with one another. The investigation continues into case. No charges will be filed at this time.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        15:42   1807047          CAVE, FRANKLIN      Officers were contacted by a subject at the PD regarding fraudulent charges on her debit card. Information was gathered for report.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        15:54   1807045          DAVIS, KENNETH     Code enforcement officer responded to S 10th St. & W Oak St. concerning a report of a white and black Chihuahua dog running at large. Officer searched the area but was unable to locate the dog.

11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM        16:08   1807048          DAVIS, KENNETH     Code enforcement officer responded to 223 Sage Dr. concerning three mix breed puppies that had been captured. The dogs were transported to the shelter for impoundment. No identification is upon the dogs.
