151009 05/21/2015 10TH STREET AND RAILROAD LAMAR – SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY- Comments: Deputy Ibarra responded to assist the LPD with a pipe on the railroad tracks. Deputy discovered a pipe in the middle of the tracks with wires coming out of it.  Deputy and LPD Officers secured the area for a possible explosive device. It was later determined the device was harmless and it was placed there by BNSF for railroad maintenance.

150995 05/20/2015 6TH ST & WASHINGTON – CRIMINAL TRAFFIC VIOLATION Comments: Deputy Freouf contacted James Douglas Rose in the 200 Blk of W Washington. Rose was arrested for driving while driver’s license revoked. Rose was transported and being held at the Prowers County Jail on $1,000 Bond.

151003 05/21/2015 25000 BLK HWY 50 GRANADA TRESPASSING Comments: Deputy Shivers responded to the railroad tracks located near the 25000 blk of Hwy 50, Granada area on a report of a man sitting on the tracks and trespassing on BNSF property. Deputy Shivers located the man who was sleeping next to the tracks, the man was a bicyclist. Deputy Shivers explained to him he was on BNSF private property and was able to help him move to a location where he could rest until morning.

150991 05/20/2015 828 W COLORADO ST HOLLY – ASSIST OTHER AGENCY

Comments: Deputy Freouf responded to the 800 Blk of W Holly, for an agency assist for a possible missing juvenile. While in route Deputy Palacios contacted the RP, the RP said the missing juvenile found and was with them headed back to Lamar. Deputies meet with the RP at the Granada Police Department to talk with the juvenile.

150988 WARRANT – Comments: Alfredo Dominguez, 18 from Holly. Was arrested on a Prowers County warrant for FTA. Bond was set at $8,000 C/S.

150990 05/19/2015 KING AVE. HARTMAN Comments: Deputy Shivers responded to the 300 blk of 1st St in Hartman, in regards to a traffic complaint the RP was willing to sign. RP said she was driving on King Ave. when the other driver who was driving fast and on her side of the road nearly hit her. RP signed a traffic complaint with her statements, and the other driver was issued a citation for careless driving.

150984 – SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY Comments: Deputy Shivers responded to the 33000 blk of Hwy 385 in regards to a 911 call from a semi truck driver who reported he was pulled over sleeping and heard

someone knocking on his truck. The driver asked for someone to respond. Deputy Shivers arrived and spoke with the driver, the driver was pulled over on private property.  Deputy Shivers showed the driver a public parking area where he could park for the night, and Deputy Shivers did a walk around the truck with the driver to ensure no damages or tampering had occurred to his truck.

5/21/2015 12:00:00 AM  08:08     1502875                DAVIS, KENNETH              Code Enforcement Officer responded to the 500 block of Imperial St. concerning a black pit dog running at large. The dog was returned to its owner and confined. The owner was advised of the City leash law.

5/21/2015 12:00:00 AM  13:51     1502882                DAVIS, KENNETH              Code Enforcement Officer responded to 610 W. Cedar St. concerning a City code violation. A notification order was left at the residence and a recheck scheduled.

5/21/2015 12:00:00 AM  14:15     1502883                DAVIS, KENNETH              Code Enforcement Officer responded to Maxwell and Beech St. concerning a stray dog. The dog was returned to its owner at 10 Division St. and a verbal warning issued.

5/21/2015 12:00:00 AM  14:21     1502884                LOSA, NATHAN Officers completed a voluntary contact in the 1000 block South 1st Street in an attempt to locate a possible suicidal subject. The subject was not located.

5/21/2015 5:18:38 PM    17:18     1502891                PIERCE, OJ           Officers responded to Merchants’ Park on a report of vehicles parked in the handicapped parking area. The owners were contacted and asked to move their vehicle. Further violations will result in citations being issued.

5/21/2015 3:47:19 PM    15:47     1502888                WILLIAMSON, DON         Officer responded to the 1800 blk. of S. 9th. St. on a report of a juvenile pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Juvenile was transported to Prowers Medical Center, where they were treated for injuries and later released to parents with minor injuries.

5/21/2015 12:00:00 AM  22:01     1502894                INMAN, JUSTIN                Officers received a complaint of a skunk trapped in the front porch area of an apartment complex in the 400 blk. of Hackberry Drive. Patrol officers removed the varmint successfully without incident.
