Senior Deputy Weisenhorn responded to the 5000 blk of Hwy 50 for a hit and run accident on private property. The RP stated someone hit the rear passenger side of his camper trailer sometime during the previous night. At this time the run vehicle has not been identified. Estimated damage to the camper is $2000.00.

Deputy arrested Melinda Mondragon 45 of Lamar on failure to comply warrant out of Prowers County.

Deputy arrested Melody Pizarro 22 of Lamar on a failure to comply warrant out for Prowers County.

Joseph Armijo 37, of Lamar, was arrested on three active Prowers County Warrants. Armijo was transported to the Prowers County Jail and is being held on no bond.

Code Enforcement Officer responded to Lamar Animal Shelter regarding a dog adoption. Paperwork was completed and dog was adopted. Adoption fee was waived.

Code Enforcement Officer responded to 401 Hackberry regarding a barking dog complaint. Owner was contacted and agreed to be in compliance with city ordinance.

Officers responsed to a report of fraud in the 1100 blk. of S. Main St. Upon arrival, officers received counterfeit money that was used in a purchase last night. Money was put into evidence. This matter is under investigation.

Code Enforcement Officer responded to the shelter and returned a lab dog to its owner. The impound fee was waived and a citation #7-6-200 license required was issued to the owner.

Code Enforcement Officer responded to the animal shelter. A heeler mix dog was returned to its owner. Impound fee was waived and a licensed required citation 7-6-200 was issued.

Officers were called to a theft in the 500 blk. of S. Main St. Officers are still investigating this matter.

Officers responded to the 200 block of S. Main St. for a possible domestic violence incident.

Officers were advised that only a verbal argument had occurred. The parties separated for the evening.

Officers responded to 6th Street and Maple Street for a two vehicle non-injury accident. Subject was cited for failing to yield right of way at a stop sign.

Officers responded to Main Street and Poplar Street for a two vehicle non-injury accident. Subject was cited for failing to yield right of way.
