Editor:  Local Law Enforcement Agencies are using a new system to report their daily events and activities.  A new format is being tested which will alter the way the online reports appear on The Prowers Journal.

Wayne Michael Tombleson, age 21, of Lamar, turned himself in to begin serving a 14 day jail sentence ordered by the Prowers County Court for illegal weapon possession.

Nathan Brown, 31, of Lamar, turned himself in on a FTC warrant with bond set at $1,000 cash.

Deputy Ibarra responded to the 600 block of Gordan Street in Wiley on a report of a suspicious incident.  Deputy spoke with the RP who believed someone had tampered with his vehicle’s tire, causing the vehicle to lose the tire.

Deputy Ibarra responded to the 9000 blk of Highway 287 on a report of a one vehicle rollover accident.  Deputy assisted the CSP with traffic control and CSP handled the investigation.

1/20/2015 12:00:00 AM  04:11     1500331                SHARRAR, ROBERT          Officers responded to the 300 block E. Olive St. on a report of a theft. Officers contacted the subject and found approximately $14.00 was taken. The subject was cited without issue.

1/20/2015 12:00:00 AM  09:49     1500336                INMAN, JOELENE             Code Enforcement Officer responded to 505 S. Main St. regarding a black lab mix dog that was captured near Savage Ave. Dog was impounded at the shelter.

1/20/2015 12:00:00 AM  22:06     1500351                SHERRILL, JAMISON        Officers received a report of a stolen bicycle in the 300 block of E. Olive St. The bicycle was valued at approximately $150.00. The matter is under investigation.

1/20/2015 12:00:00 AM  20:34     1500350                SHARRAR, ROBERT          Saul Lopez-Sanchez 49, of Lamar, was arrested on charges of restraining order violation and other charges. Lopez-Sanchez was transported to Prowers County Jail and is being held on $750.00 any type bond.
