Kathy Lynn Birchler…August 18, 1950 – July 12, 2018

 

 

A graveside memorial service for longtime Bristol resident, Kathy Lynn Birchler will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Bristol Cemetery in Bristol, Colorado with Cody Petersen of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.

Per Kathy’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.

Kathy was born on August 18, 1950 at Sante Fe, New Mexico to Darrell and Helen (Moore) Wilder and passed away on July 12, 2018 at the Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 67.

She is preceded in death by her father, Darrell Wilder; mother Helen Wilder-Carter; step-father, Jack Carter, infant son and her sister-in-law, Bev Wilder.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Gerald Birchler of the family home in Bristol; children, Tammy Nickelson of Lamar, Tracy (Rich) Nickelson-Wootten and Robert (Doreen) Nickelson all of Lakewood, CO; step-children, Kris (Mary) Birchler of Lamar and Matt (Kimbra) Birchler of Commerce City, CO. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daelyn Sagert, Dylan Nickelson, Katelynn Wootten, Nichole Nickelson, Mayrene McCoy, Nataleigh, Krissie, Jessie, Cora, Mark, Emma and Abigail Birchler, Leisha Sagert and Lance Sagert; great-grandchildren, Adam Zavala and Isaiah Guerra; siblings, Gary Wilder of Topeka, KS; Darla Wagoner of Des Moines, IA; Ron (Cheryl) Wilder of Hutchison, KS and Patricia (Graene) Fuller of Smithville, MO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association either direct or in care of the funeral home office.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
