Mobile Veteran’s Center in Lamar June 22

LAMAR, CO – The Pueblo Vet Center Mobile Vet Center will be in Lamar, CO on June 22, 2018 by invitation of the Prowers County Veterans Service Officer. The Mobile Vet Center will be at the Walmart parking lot at 1432 E. Olive St. from 9am to 3pm.

Vet Center staff will be on hand to provide information about Vet Center services and other resources that may benefit veterans in the area.

The Vet Center Program was established by Congress in 1979 out of the recognition that a significant number of Vietnam era vets were still experiencing readjustment problems. Vet Centers are community based and part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The goal of the Vet Center program is to provide a broad range of counseling, outreach, and referral services to eligible service members, veterans, and their families in order to help them make a satisfying post-war readjustment to civilian life.
