3-day event promises to have large impact on pressing regional needs

Lamar, CO (June 13 – 15, 2018) – Organizers expect more than 250 attendees at this year’s Southeast Rural Philanthropy Days (RPD), a three-day event that brings together Colorado’s foundations, nonprofits, and local stakeholders. Held June 13-15, 2018 in Lamar, Colorado, the event will include a number of workshops, speakers, and will present several opportunities for networking and collaboration on local projects and funding opportunities.

Supported by the Community Resource Center and the Anschutz Foundation, the event is organized by a regional steering committee representing voices from Baca, Bent, Crowley, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero, and Prowers Counties. For more than 26 years, event organizers have brought together funders, nonprofits, local governments, and small businesses at regional Rural Philanthropy Days to strengthen key partnerships and address pressing regional needs. The event promises to have a large impact on Colorado’s southeast region: in the last seven years, the 12 core funders of the Rural Philanthropy Days program have awarded 557 grants in the Southeast region, for a total of more than $17 million.

Save the date for this exciting conference and opportunity to connect with stakeholders like you! Early Bird registration will open March 2018.
