Theodore Leroy Bock…October 8, 1949 – July 10, 2107

 

Graveside services for Theodore Bock will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Fort Lyon National Cemetery in Las Animas, Colorado. Pastor Edwin Samples will officiate. Visitation will take place prior to services, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar, Colorado.

Theodore Leroy Bock was born on October 8, 1949 to Ruth (Keen) Bock and passed away on July 10, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 67.

Theodore was a Vietnam-Era veteran, serving our country for 20 years in the United States Army as a Calibration Specialist until his retirement. He and his wife Donna, then returned to her family hometown of Las Animas, Colorado and Theodore began working at Fort Lyon Veteran’s Hospital until its closing. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending his time with his sons and grandchildren.

Theodore is survived by his sons, Roy Harold (Loretta Graeff) Bock and Scott (Miranda Whitlow) Bock, both of Lamar, Colorado; siblings, Ester Gieir of Pueblo, Colorado, Richard Bock of Wheatridge, Colorado, Louise Sidebottom of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Tyler Bock, Austin Bock, Kiesha Graeff, Jamal Graeff, all of Lamar, Colorado and Landyn Dudley of Las Animas, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his, wife Donna Irene Bock; mother, Ruth Bock; and siblings, Donna Gieir and Gerry Isaac.
