Graveside funeral services for Michael Cochrane will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Fort Lyon National Cemetery in Las Animas, Colorado. Pastor Diane Hutson will officiate. Military rites provided by American Legion District #1 Post #6 and VFW Post #2411.
Michael Lee Cochrane was born on April 6, 1948 to Elizabeth Mae (Lovely) Cochrane in Denver, Colorado and passed away on December 11, 2016 in Brighton, Colorado at the age of 68.
Michael was a hard worker, with many talents. He spent most of his years in the construction field as a drywall installer. He loved his grandchildren and the joy they brought into his life. Michael was an extremely kind and generous soul, with a heart of gold.
Michael is survived by his wife, Ruth Anne Cochrane of Las Animas, Colorado; children, Sherry (Randy) Walker of Commerce City, Colorado, Troy Cochrane of also of Commerce City, Colorado, Nikki Wilson of Lakewood, Colorado; step-children, Kevin Schrock of Fort Collins, Colorado, Rhonda Rable of Commerce City, Colorado, Melinda Wray of DeBerry, Texas; sisters, Sherri Goff of Granby, Colorado, Gayle Anderson of Broomfield, Colorado, Debbie Youngs of Commerce City; brothers, Kenny Cochrane of Denver, Colorado, Claude Goff of Conifer, Colorado; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Elizabeth Mae (Lovely) and Homer Lyman Goff; sister, Diane Hoffman; and sons, Michael Jr. and Danny Cochrane.
